“You’re so smart,” I gushed to my 5-year-old recently (Yes, I’m one of those annoying moms who thinks her kid is brilliant!) “You’re, like, the smartest person I know!”
“I know 2 people who are smarter,” Sydney replied.
“Two? Who are they?”
“God and Jesus. Actually, they’re kings. And there’s a third king,” she told me.
Wow, she really is smart I thought to myself. Could she be thinking of the Holy Spirit?
“Who’s the third?” I inquired.
“Santa Claus!”
