A while back I shared that Will and Sydney had been invited to be the ring bearer and flower girl in a wedding. Well, the wedding was this weekend and it went great!
Surprisingly, the kids hung out up front during the whole ceremony. I thought for sure they would have taken me up on my offer to come sit down with me and Chad after marching down the aisle. The bride and her mom almost expected the kids to bail from standing up front. But stand up front they did, with the wedding party, the entire time.

When the ceremony was over and Will and Sydney had traipsed back up the aisle, I met them in the back. Will practically passed out in my arms. “My feet are tired!” he complained.
I patted him on the back.
“I want my ten dollars,” was the very next thing he said.
I did not mind paying him for a job well-done. Plus, I think I got a two-fer out of this one. Will was so good that Sydney simply followed his lead. Yup, I feel this was $10 well spent!
