Dairy Queen has opened in town and even though it’s still in the 30s outside, us hearty midwesterners are running to line up.
I treated the kids recently and had an interesting discussion with Will.
He wanted a Blizzard, which costs $3.19 for a small. I wanted him to get a kid’s cone for 99 cents. I explained to him that a Blizzard costs 3 times as much as a cone.
“MOM!” he screamed, outraged. “I don’t care about PRICE! I care about TASTE!”
Better start working on that million-dollar idea, buddy, ’cause I can’t support your lavish lifestyle much longer!
