Let me wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays!
I wanted to share some of the posts about Christmas that have really spoken to me this past month. They come from writers/bloggers whose ideas, joys, and stories are worth a visit!
First up is Chris at The Mom Cafe. She shared the loveliest Christmas gift idea called the Blessings Jar. I particularly love, love, love the words she wrote that go to the recipient of each Blessing Jar.
Next is Adrienne at The Mommy Mess who shared a scrumptious-looking recipe, Sweet and Savory Easy Overnight Breakfast Bake. Yum! She had me at King’s Hawaiian rolls. If either of my kids would eat this (they’re pancake fans alas), then I would totally make this. “Make it for you and your husband, Katy!” you say. Why, yes, and then I’d eat it all and gain ten thousand pounds. Seriously, I need people with me to indulge. 🙂
Then there’s Lou Lou at Lou Lou Loves. This gal seriously rocks with her sense of humor and I admit I like lurking on her blog just to see how crazy Swedes are living on the other side of the pond. Check out The Swedish Christmas Goat and Fika Fun! for example.
Finally, if you and your kids have 3 minutes to spare, then do yourself a favor and watch this adorable video. It’s the Christmas Story told by kids. I love the sheep and the littlest wise man. They even mention poop in this Christmas story! The whole thins is really so sweet! A Must See!
Again, Merry Christmas everyone!
P.S. If you are anxious about whether or not I will get my Christmas salami this year, then follow me on Twitter or Instagram where I’ll be sure to share my gifts. Fingers crossed!
