2012 was a big year for me and my blog. Specifically, 2012 was the year I joined Twitter, created a Facebook page, shared guest posts on Scary Mommy and The Mommy Mess, and was a featured blogger on The Sits Girls. Exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time!
I’m so thankful for the new friends/followers/bloggers/people on the street who have come along for the ride!
I had plenty of real-life Experienced Bad Mom moments in 2012, too. Here’s a brief recap of my proudest moments:
1. My family witnessed a hawk devour two baby ducks at Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk Resort.
2. I successfully {ahem} navigated 3rd/4th grade Everyday Mathematics and kindergarten homework. Gee, I love to color!
3. I actually enjoyed my trip to the giant, indoor water park (even though I left my suit bottom on the Flow Rider).
4. I realized my kids are growing up and I’m okay with that (see The Half Way Mom).

my adult daughter returned home after 3 years in formation to become a Catholic sister. She decided it was not what God had planned for her. I had peace about her conviction to try it, but my heart leapt when that door closed. She is close by again, teaching high school religion and LOVING it!
