Five

On Sunday my daughter Sydney turned 5. Here’s a happy picture of me, Sydney, and Will, 8:

After we took the picture, Sydney wanted to see it on the camera. She looked at it, sighed, then said to  me, “YOU’RE not 5.”

Then she instructed my husband, “Take it again.”

So here’s the second, Sydney-approved shot of us on her birthday:

By the way, notice that Will is now completely watching the football game in the second shot!

P.S. There are not enough fingers and toes for me to hold up to show how old I am…
