My kids go back to school on Tuesday. It seems like yesterday that they were so excited to be done with school. We enjoyed a great summer full of memories: going to the lake with friends, camping, baseball, swim lessons, golf lessons, and a cottage vacation at Lake Michigan.
Here is my favorite picture from the summer:
This was taken on a sand dune ride at Lake Michigan. It was a blast! And as their mom, I know that both my kids are completely being themselves in this picture, not posing or acting, and they are simply lost in a happy moment.
Ah, summer. I’ll miss you! See you next year.

Summer did fly by so quickly – it always does though! I love your picture – I love capturing the real happiness that kids have and are not afraid to show. My fave memories of summer – definitely all the time laughing together on our summer vacation to the Outer Banks!

What a fun picture! You can just see the joy of summer in it! I think my favorite picture from this summer is our Disney World picture. Even though Ben was being a grouch, it’s still a great photo!
