Recently, my kids and I completed a trip around the world. We visited exotic locales such as Brazil, Australia, and Japan. We spent time in China, Spain, and England. It was awesome!
What is she talking about? you ask. Isn’t this the blog by the idiot mom trying to raise 2 children?
Loyal readers, you are right. But sometimes I do things that make me feel like a good mom. In this case, I subscribed to Little Passports. I enjoyed it so much that I highly recommend it! Here’s the scoop.
With a monthly subscription, your child begins the adventure by receiving an Explorer Kit in the mail. It comes with a suitcase, world map, passport, stickers and more.

Next, each month your child will “travel” with two young pen pals, Sam and Sofia, as they visit exciting new countries like Brazil, France, Egypt, and Mexico. By mail, your child receives a souvenir, passport sticker, map sticker, activity sheet, suitcase tag, and access to online games about the country visited. There’s even a letter from, and picture of, Sam and Sofia in each country they visit. I don’t know about your kids, but my kids LOVE getting mail. They were so excited each month when the package arrived!

There are 4 types of monthly subscriptions, ranging from 3 to 24 months. Prices start at $10.95/month. My kids and I enjoyed the 12-month subscription Globetrotter Package and are ready to sign up for the second year now that we have finished moving into our new house. (Note: I did share 1 subscription between the two of them. Sharing wasn’t usually a problem as different parts from each package appealed to them.)
Sydney, 4, with our suitcase. |
Above is Sydney, 4, with our suitcase decorated with a year’s worth of stickers and luggage tags. She told me the tiger from India and double-decker bus from England were her favorite souvenirs. Will, 8, liked the crystal rock we received from the month we learned about Brazil. My favorite was the origami paper we got from Japan. I really enjoyed learning how to make a dog in origami!
To start a subscription, head on over to Little Passports. Use the code THANKS10 to receive 10% off your order now through September 30. There is also a special on the GlobeTrotter Package until September 19. It’s offered at the discounted rate of $99 for 1 year (a savings of over $32 off the regular price) just by using code GLOBE99 during checkout.
Disclosure: My kids and I enjoyed a year-long subscription to Little Passports that we paid for ourselves. This blog post and review contain my own opinion. I am an affiliate for Little Passports.
