This week I’m happy to announce I feel like a good mom.
Why? you ask. Did I teach my kids a second language? Help them master Tai Chi? Encourage them to use words, not fists?
No. I feel like a good mom because I cleaned up vomit!
Years ago, when Will, my firstborn, was little, I remember the first time he really threw up. (Not baby spit up, but the real stuff!) I actually had a moment where I thought, “Yuck. Who’s going to clean that up?” Oh y-e-a-h. I had to clean it up.
So when there was vomit in the house this weekend, I calmly rolled up my sleeves (and pant legs due to the splatter), got out the cleaning supplies, and proceeded to scrub, mop, and pick it all up. I’ve come a long way.
See, I am a good mom.

So who got sick this time?

All names are removed to protect the innocent. Kidding. It was Will.
