It’s a Family Thing

October 19, 2011 By Katy 3 Comments

Here’s another Bad Mom moment courtesy of my little sister.  Loyal readers may remember this previous post from my sister, who is mom to Ian, 9, and Lily, 6.

Here’s a gratuitous picture of my kids with Ian and Lily:

Awwww….

So the other day my sister stepped out of the shower to find this note that had been passed under the bathroom door. It’s from Lily:

Worried, my sister went to find Lily…who had run away all the way to the couch downstairs where she was watching TV!

Good times.

Welcome to the Bad Mom Club, sis! It’s good to know I’m not alone. And, maybe we can start blaming genetics for this Bad Mom thing?!

"I am running away forever because this is not a place to be for me."

Reminds me of Nora's grand exit in A Doll's House. This kid has got a future.

Priceless!! I hope your sister saves that for her daughters rehearsal dinner the night before her wedding!

Hi Amy, Thanks for stopping by my blog! I will totally recommend my sister keeps this for Lily's wedding, high school graduation, college graduation, oh, and the birth of her own daughter one day!
