First, let me wish both my blog readers a happy 2010!
Second, I am thankful that the children I am raising via my poor parenting skills seem relatively unscathed by 2009 (swear words, potty words and a few other misadventures aside!)
I’ll start 2010 with a recent tale from the dinette.
Will was eating his lunch. He had a few blueberries on his plate. One struck him as abnormally large.
“Look, Mom! This is the biggest blueberry ever!”
“It does look big!”
“Mom, do you want it? You can have it.”
Will smiled and held out the giant blueberry for me.
I was genuinely touched. Sharing does not come easy for Will, and here he was offering me the biggest blueberry ever.
“Wow,” I said. “You would give it to me?”
“Yea. It fell on the floor!”
Thanks, Will. That makes more sense!

Hi Katy. When you commented on one of Ross's FB profile updates recently I thought, although it has been quite some time, "ohh, I know that Sepo", so I clicked on your link, saw that you had a blog and have been laughing my way through your posts ever since. My five year old even asked me why I was laughing and all I could say was "because it is funny". I think any mother of little ones, past or present, would think so because it is all so on the money. I am glad you are writing down your little experiences and now you have three blog readers. Cheers from down under, Katie Jones (nee Pine)
