Here is a photo of me and Will enjoying a ride on the Mansfield, Ohio carousel. If you are ever on Route 30 in the middle of Ohio, I recommend you stop by!
We took the kids on several carousel rides. Will loved it. On the last ride, he and I sat next to each other on these beautiful, hand carved cats. His cat was decorated like a pirate, with a patch on his eye, a pistol, a parrot on his hind leg, and a swashbuckling sword.
When the ride started, Will leaned over his cat, pretended to get the pistol, and then proceeded to shoot my cat. Nice.
Next he got the sword and pretended to slice up my cat. Nice, again!
I then told him that killing was not nice (and worried that he would be a psycho killer one day!)
He started making gagging sounds and then told me his cat threw up a hairball on my cat. Really nice, Will!
So he shot my cat, stabbed my cat, and threw up on my cat.
I will take solace in the fact that Sydney was nearby blowing kisses to all the animals. 1 out of 2 is not bad, right?!
