Last week I took the kids to see Dolphin Tale. It was a nice family film and I recommend it!
Dolphin Tale is about Winter, a dolphin who loses her tail in a crab trap and makes a miraculous recovery with the help of a prosthetic tail. (Check out the real Winter at SeeWinter.com) She is befriended by a young boy who doesn’t really fit in at school and has few friends. They overcome the odds together as Winter recovers and adjust to her new abilities and the boy finds new friends and saves Winter’s aquarium from closing.
Uplifting and inspiring, right?
However, Will (aka Alex P. Keaton) focused on some different themes.
“Dad!” he told my husband, who’d been working when we’d gone to the movie. “The boy GETS A JOB!”
Huh.
Oh, y-e-s, the boy (probably 10-12-years-old) does get a job helping at the aquarium.
“And,” Will continued enthusiastically, “he had a fair and made a LOT of money!”
What?
Oh, y-e-s, the boy does organize a carnival as a fundraiser to save the aquarium.
What can I say? Will is who he is: he found Dolphin Tale to be an uplifting and inspiring story about capitalism and entrepreneurship!
Watch out Donald Trump.

lol, too funny. I remember you said Will wanted to sell jewelry too after he saw someone doing it at the A2 art fair. He really is going to own his own business one day!!
