Sydney, now a very grown-up 4-year-old, was with me in the car. We were listening to Christmas music (specifically the Rick Springfield Christmas album – oh yeah!).
“This song is about God, right?” she asked.
It was.
Another song came on. “This song is about God, too,” she said.
And it was.
“They like to talk about God at Sunday School,” she commented.
“Yes, you go to church to learn about God,” I replied.
“They always talk about God. I wish they would talk about something else.”
Huh!
