Parenting Classes That YOU Wish Were Offered

January 15, 2013 By Katy 9 Comments

You guys are awesome.

Not only do you humor (and honor)  me by reading my blog, but you chime in with the best comments. Take Friday’s post on Parenting Classes That I Wish Were Offered. I listed a few classes that I’d like to see and then you guys suggested numerous awesome classes here and on Facebook that MUST. BE. SHARED. I’m listing them below so everyone can appreciate the genius that is the EBM audience:

Cooking 301: How to Prepare a Meal that Everyone Will Eat – Rabia at The Liebers

So She Says She Hates You 101 – The right answer and how to respond to tween and teen girls who are using words to get a reaction and possibly some unreasonable privilege or possession.

Prerequisite for:
Not Laughing When She’s Trying to Call You ‘Psycho’ and She Calls You ‘Psychic’ 205   – Maggie at Accidentally by Design

Untitled Girl Drama – I would like one to help me not rip my eyeballs out by hand with the increasing girl drama and hysterics that exist in my home. – The Dose of Reality

How to get a newborn to sleep through the night,

How to talk to your kids about sex, and

How to get your life back once the kids are grown and gone – Mare at Adventures in the Ballpark.

How to deal with a Drama Queen,

How to convince your kids that “No TV” is not the end of the world,  and

Referee classes for dealing with sibling battles – Raina at Mamacita Spins the Globe

How To Handle a Tantrum In Front of Strangers Who Don’t Have Kids – Not Winning Mom of the Year

Thanks for sharing, everyone!

Now, if only there was a way to put the kids to bed and have enough energy to hang out on Twitter with each other. There should be a class for that…

Aaaahhhh … an instant headache when my kids are clueless as to what to do when “screen time” isn’t an option. Great list! Visiting from SITS 🙂
