This week Sydney and I were in the car and started chatting about Halloween.
“Mmmm, candy!” she squealed.
“What’s your favorite type of candy?” I asked.
“Um,” she said. Then nothing.
“Is it chocolate? Lollipops? Mints?” I suggested.
A moment later she said with a straight face, “Beer candy!”
Then she giggled. And of course I giggled, too. Which will only encourage her to bring up beer again in the future! Probably at school or church, much to my chagrin–and enabling!
It looks like Sydney is making an appearance as Green Bones — how cute! 🙂
