I’m in the process of signing up now and came across your blog!
I’ve gotta say, I read you’re post about how your daughter likes HORROR movies and had to just laugh! When my son, now 14, first got in to Pokemon he was 4 or 5. He had horrible speech issues and he came to me and said, “I like Pokemon”. So, I was asking him to tell me all about them so that I could encourage him to talk more, and help him correct any that his mispronounced.
So I ask him, “Well, who’s that guy that is with the yellow (pikachu) pokemon”
Well, he attempts to say his name, Ash Ketchum. I’m sure you know what it sounded like. I had him pronounce it about 10 times before I understood what he was saying. At that time I said, Oh, well let’s just call him Ketchum! hahaha
Thanks for bringing up a happy memory I hadn’t thought of in awhile.
