We were in the car the other day when we drove by Tutor Time childcare center.
“Look!” cried Will. “It says Tutor Time! Hee hee!”
“Sydney,” he continued. “That sign says Tutor Time! Toot toot tutor time!”
“Tooter time!” shouted Sydney.
Then they dissolved into hysterical laughing.
I tried to turn it into a teaching moment (“Kids, a tutor is like a teacher or mentor”), but they really just wanted to laugh and say Tutor/Tooter over and over.
