Just back from a lovely camping vacation to Mackinaw City, Michigan.
Surprisingly, there were few, if any, Bad Mom incidents. Must have been all that fresh air and fun!

However, I did manage to drive into my carport with the roof bubble still attached to my roof rack. I plum forgot it was attached!

The car port came out the winner, the roof bubble survived with minor dings, and my car came out the biggest loser as the roof bubble flew off when I backed out of the carport with a piece of the roof rack still attached to it, which scraped up my hood.
| Nice, right? |
At least my car is already 9 1/2 years old. Who am I impressing anyway? Plus, you can barely see the scrapes under all that dirt, right?
Good times, good times.
And, Sydney cracked me at Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island. After biking 8 miles around the island, taking a lunch break, and then visiting a butterfly house, we decided to walk/hike up the big hill to the Fort. Sydney, now 4 1/2, alternated between walking and begging to be carried. As we entered the Fort, she looked around at all the character reenactors, the old fashioned buildings, canons, and what-not and said, “Where’s the Fort?”
At least 8 of our fellow tourists burst out laughing. All I could say was, “And that’s why 4-year-olds are admitted free!”
’til next time my faithful followers of my badness…

Glad you had a good time! We are camping this week in Greenville, MI. Matts mom is bringing me a potty to pee in while I am there. Given I did not camp growing up, I am sure this will be awesome. Sorry to hear about the car. This is exactly why new cars are overrated.
ugh! I think I’m more upset that these incidents can’t be blamed on our husbands! đŸ™‚ I really grasped at blaming it on my children. Truth is, I probably would’ve totalled the mirrow without the distraction of my kids! Thanks for sharing.
