How’s your grocery shopping going these days?
For me, I have couple reactions every Saturday when I push my cart with the squeaky wheel around the aisles.
Sometimes, I feel like a grumpy little old lady. “Bah!” I’ll cry out. “This used to be $2.99 in the good old days, now it’s $4.68.”
Or I sometimes feel like a hardcore member of Generation X: I put on my best disillusioned face while thinking “Another recession? Whatever.”
After my latest trip, I decided the only appropriate response to grocery shopping while inflations rages at a 40-year high is to laugh about it.

I love my 80s music so the only way the grocery store can appease me after they rearrange stuff is by playing my jams from the era of big hair and big shoulder pads.
